It was found that Roshini was about to leave for the US due to studies but decided to do the film when approached by the producers. Kamal Hassan was interested in Roshini’s fresh and western appearance compared to other established actresses of the time.

It was also reported that Roshini did some TVCs after Guna, but refused to be a part of any film. As per reports, it was found that the former actress got married and has been living in the USA with her family.
